Much cheaper for their public hospitals.
Eg An A&E visit only costs HKD180.
One chemo or dialysis session HKD96.

One vlogger's visit to A&E for a cut in April this year:
They paid HKD180.
I had a smaller cut on the back of my knuckle 5-6 years ago and had stitching done at a public hospital here (Spore).
I was charged something like SGD110-120. I guess it will cost more now.

wow so is REAL HK public health care system is better than SG and Cheaper too.
because i see the current HK Doc drama currently show on CH 8 , the doc claim a lot country envy HK public health system.
partly they debate is due to some rare disease drugs , they want Govt to also include it thus those patient can get help but others debate if these drugs included will add a huge budget on HK health care system.
