This is a very typical Canada media spin aided by the general English media. At first sight, the article seems to be about the murder of a Singh, but if you read the tone and headline of the piece what they are really trying to impress on readers is the illusion that Canada is a world power and global geopolitical affairs are somewhat affected because a Canadian guy was murdered.
