When I was at a client’s office in Silicon Valley in California I felt floor is shaking slightly.

I was at Los Angeles. The quake started at midnight but I was asleep then. Next morning, when I walked down the stairs to my car, the stairs shake violently. The structure of the staircases there, unlike our buildings here, are made of mostly iron bar that can withstand the shaking and not collapse.

Last time when I was still very small I watched 'Earthquake' in Cathay Cinema and felt the ground below my feet shaking lah!
