The sad reality you fail to mentioned is it because of politics, not technical or technology challenge, that is hindering digital progress.

Your thoughts are running all over the place. I've been talking about Harmony OS. Who's talking about 5G?

Are you sure they only showcase their 5G technology ?? Better check with your "Huawei friends" again else your fact-check source is not reliable Big Grin

How Huawei positioned its HarmonyOS beyond Android architecture.
The Youtuber also mentioned  Google's Fuchsia OS.

I said I have visited their gallery that showcases their 5G technologies. I didn't say that they only have galleries that only showcase 5G. You really need to brush up your understanding.

Again, you are asking me to comment on something I have no interest in.

I want to reiterate that Harmony OS is just the AOSP that Android has developed. It is not such a big thing that people make it out to be.

And since you mentioned 5G, I'd just say that Harmony OS and 5G are two different things altogether. 3GPP determines 5G specifications and it does not mention what OS you want to use. You can use anything. I doubt Harmony OS is used in their core networks.

Thank you for confirming what I already notice - How little you know about Huawei.

As you have stated, you have "no interest" other than repeating your view that HarmonyOS is " not such a big thing" while ignoring how the Shenzhen approach towards solutions is beyond just smart phone, 5G and a new OS.

You responses epitomise how how one can easily miss the forest for the trees... Cool

Looks like Huawei is going from strength to strength.

Why are the Westerners so fearful of the Chinese advances ?

Chinese Netizens Mock U.S. Sanctions Big Grin

Chinese social media users are having fun teasing the U.S. government and the (in)effectiveness of its technology sanctions on chipmaking equipment. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo has been a particular target, as her visit to China coincided with the Huawei Mate 60 Pro launch...
....In summary, governments have to ponder more carefully over potential unintended consequences. Sanctions might have a place to retain advantages over rivals, but nuances of their application must be learned from the newfound vitality of blacklisted firms like Huawei and SMIC.
