This is how the system works....

1. First owner profited $41.6m - X (X is the amount he bought earlier) by selling to this new owner.
2. New owner made the stall holders pay for his purchase by increasing rents by 2 fold.
3. Stall holders pay for their rents by increasing food prices.

Conclusion is consumers pay the 1st owner the obscene profit of $41.6m - X..... Rolleyes

Thinking is difficult, that's why most people judge

But all parties have a choice..

1) New owner has a choice not to buy
2) Shall holders have a choice to pull out after rental increase
3) Consumers have a choice to buy from other coffeeshops around the area

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

Must complain to your MP - Cheng Li Hui

Over at this precinct, 4 are Malay coffeeshops and only 2 are Chinese coffeeshops

Look at Street 82, Tampines Point West, so many large Chinese coffeeshops, at least 6 of them and at least 3 Malay coffeeshops.

Cheng Li Hui is obviously NOT doing her job, just know how to baby carrying.
