Agree, that is why we saw Australia shipping their rare earth to Malaysia for processing.

Another thing will be the opening of new rare earth mines and setting up of local processing factories will take a few years. By that time, China would have come out with a stable EUV light source  for < 7nm chip production and at higher yields.
