Indonesia think of the people and protect its people. That's their business.
In Singapore PAP only think of GDP. If you die that's your business.

All you need to do is change how politicians are paid. Give them a salary marked to median income. Then have their kpi tied to upping median and lower income without massive inflationary pressure, ie real income growth.

Then upon politicians retirement, give out bonus that is multiple of top income group as a reward for their leadership ability to improving lives of citizens.


Contrast the above with current system where they are so aloof and so well paid with top wage, why the hell they want to rock the boat? Might as well count million dollar salary at home.. lol
