| Before these indian expats/pr go on social media to voice their grievances, did they ask around what led to this discrimination? Before I didn't quite believe those stories online of rented apartments getting trashed by the non-local indian tenants, dismissing them as fake xenophobic accusations. That was until I personally went to help a relative with some repair work after her condo tenant (expat indian family) moved out. Broken blinds, damaged wardrobe doors, stickers and crayon marks on walls/bedframe/wardrobe, curry masala stains and spills in kitchen countertop grooves/wall/floor. All were in brand new state before renting out and only stayed for 2 years. My relative never rented to another expat indian again. |
