Very simple la..no need to argue.

All Malaysian states money belongs to the federal government in KL.
You are under the control in many areas. From police, to transport, to hospital, to foreign investment and trade.

So you must surrender all income from taxes and reserves to the Federal government. In return, they decide the budget for you annually.

That's why Singapore quickly got kicked out when we disagreed to surrender our national reserves.

Spore got kicked out for many reasons. One of them is we do not want a Malay Malaysia. We want Malaysia Malay. There is a subtle deeper meaning if you look deeper.

Race politic is the roots of Malaysia. No doubt.

But the idea of surrendering our national reserves spooked every one in PAP. Even for those with strong bonding to Malaysia.

Imagine today, if someone suggesting Singapore merge back with Malaysia by surrendering our national reserves. What would happen..🤣🤣🤣🤣

Money is still the most important roots of everyone interest.
That's why the Prince is complaining. Even though he is a Malay too.
