Lao and Indonesian have made up their mind years ago. Thai and Vietnamese are carrying their HSR plan now.

Bolehland ah Bolehand.. Will this country be swayed by another anti-China propaganda story published on Bloomberg ?

They should sell 4 types of tickets

Including for Shoppers to bring back 3 trolleys of food

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

KL-SG HSR is not a good idea precisely because we need to deal with this type of fickle and conservative folks in MY.

I agree.

No point to connect SG and KL with such expensive project.
A flight between the 2 cities is just 45 min. Easier and cheaper.

Both parties are primarily concerned with their own interests, making it challenging to establish a joint venture due to the complexity of upfront costs.

Furthermore, certain politicians, particularly those from the northern region, may exploit the situation for personal political gain.
Incurring unnecessary geopolitical implications.

Actually, a trip now from Singapore to Dali-Yunnan is an unforgettable experience. You don't need to travel far to Europe for the scenery.  With a delay in the HSR construction, the beautiful scenery will be gone as these areas are developing fast.
