Kazakhstan has huge reserves of fossil fuels too.
But seems like majority of the oil fields ownership are in private companies.
After this riot, Kazakhstan gov should nationalise all the remainder 80% so that the Kazaks can enjoy fuel prices that are not linked to the energy markets.
