Responding to the DPP’s question on what specific instructions Pritam Singh and Ms Sylvia Lim gave her about how to tell the truth, Ms Khan says they told her to draft and make a personal statement in Parliament.
They instructed her to do so at the following sitting, she adds.
Ms Khan says they also discussed whether or not she would include her personal experience with assault, to which Singh replied that he would leave it up to her.
The DPP then asks Ms Khan if her parents knew of her assault at that point, to which she says no.
She was then instructed to share the draft of her personal statement with Singh.
