Unless it is someone I personally know, I never say rip when someone died. 

It doesn't matter if it's the president of the law society or a famous singer/composer. Why should I say rip to him when I don't even know him. If I am going to say rip to someone I don't know then there are millions and millions of peepur to whom I have to say that. 

To me the life of a lorry driver or dishwasher is just as precious as that of celebrities or peepur who hold high positions and/or are rich.

But peepur take notice and say rip only to the latter.
