Looks like the pandemic/endemic will be long drawn

Suddenly cases here hit multi month highs.
In Thailand all time high. Malaysia still very bad.

Late last yr thought that they vaccines would take us out
of the situation but the disease can just mutate and make
vaccine less effective.

No end in sight in fact the end seems further away.

If you remember Asian crisis and financial crisis also
never lasted so long.

Governments around the world all struggling with this.
Normal travel will be long long way from now.

If 80-100% vaccinated, either mrna or non-mrna, then can open up. Because it seems vacc prevents severe symptoms, that's good enough.

Why worry about efficacy? P & M 95%, yet it spreads.

Gahmen should focus only on avoiding hospitalisation and stop discriminating against Sinovac and other non-mrna vacc.

HK is doing very well.
HK has 1 or 0 covid case for the past 8 days.

Singapore has planned to live with covid.
HK has planned for zero covid.

Even if it 1000 SG will no lockdown as we are in an endemic. Even more so when you have 70-80% jabbed.
If CoVid remains even for the next 2-3 years, there is a high possibility that ALL of us will get infected at some point in time.
Those jabbed will be protected for serious illness but small numbers will still fall thru the gap.
As the unjabbed ...... good luck

won't end till most people are vaccinated.........

that's the aim of this man-made pandemic...........

the vaccine will be used to slowly bring down the population......expect more vaccines to be introduced.....either for Covid-19 or future man-made viruses......
