Cool

Get ready for a historic moment at the upcoming Singapore Airshow 2024, as the skies over South East Asia will witness the international airshow debut of the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC) C919, China’s first modern passenger jet. Unlike the Boeing, COMAC's first wide-body jet uses digital side-stick control like the Airbus Big Grin

Not 1 but 2 Made-in-China commercial jets will make their 1st appearance in SG Airshow...

COMAC’S C919 single-aisle jet is poised to make its international air show debut in Singapore next month, according to people familiar with the matter, as the Chinese planemaker seeks to capitalise on Boeing’s woes and a production backlog at Airbus. Commercial Aircraft Corp of China, as it’s formally known, will conduct a flying display and exhibit its homegrown jet amid a push to broaden prospective sales beyond Asia’s biggest economy, the people said, declining to be identified because the information isn’t public. Singapore’s biannual air show runs from Feb 20-25.

I only know China's C919 does not use Boeing door design nor uses their QA standard... Big Grin

There was actually two C919 at the Airshow 2024.

This one close up on the China Eastern's C919 nose section shows a generous cluster of air sensors, unlike the Boeing 737 which has only 2 pitot tubes...which itself was partly blamed for 737 Max crashes.
