PAP are driving more companies out

Our currency is too strong

Causing rental and salary to be a major cost in their P&L

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

PM Lee questioned Asean members to choose between US and China?

A very good question indeed when all 3 countries acknowledge favouring China and immediately, that effectively forcing US to counter balance Chinese OBOR influence in Asean.

Sadly, Singapore is the loser.

Thought Singapore already has microsoft data centre? According to Microsoft, it houses the South East Asia data center in Singapore. Likely data center in the Thailand and Indonesia is an expansion.

To show their gratitude, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia leaders should thank PM Lee for his effort in attracting further US  investments in ASEAN .

Since only Singapore benefitted tremendously from recent Swiftonomics (and no others ), a more relief US President Biden maybe can now consider to relocate 50% to 60% of US MNCs and big companies out of Singapore (world's richest country) to the neighbouring 3 poorer countries.

Only reason is to counter Chinese OBOR expansion.
And can move back again to Singapore later.

You take US to b a Santa Clause, distributing wealth from Singapore to poorer countries? One day u will b right. But not on data centers as they need well developed communication network.

Today, there are 44,000 US MNCs and companies in Singapore, Biden can relocate 34,000 out of Singapore to much cheaper neighbouring countries leaving 10,000 behind.

Besides distributing wealth, they can save a lot of money..

It's ridiculous to setup an operation in the world's most expensive city with only 5.7 mio people and trying to be profitable..

Thai social media content is quite insular. Hardly anybody overseas will access Thai language content, so it makes more sense to host such content in Thailand.

With very limited space, the American can totally get out of Singapore and 100% relocate elsewhere so, that our 4G leaders can innovate and better focus to further develop Singapore into more advanced future technology..

Singapore should remain a class above the rest

Ensuring a skilled, AI-ready workforce

On Tuesday, Microsoft announced a broader commitment to provide AI skilling opportunities for 2.5 million people in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states by 2025. This training and support will be delivered in partnership with governments, nonprofit and corporate organizations, and communities in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Microsoft’s skilling commitment is expected to benefit more than 100,000 individuals in Thailand.

"According to research by Kearney, AI could contribute nearly US$1 trillion to Southeast Asia’s gross domestic product by 2030, with Thailand poised to capture US$117 billion of this amount. "

Trump says data centres would have to be in the US. Now, every country says local data will be hosted in their countries.
