1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps

This Midea aircon is simply a single-split aircon designed into a window aircon frame.
Thus will be much quieter than the latter. It will be perfect for those who are still using window aircons.
Installation should be by the aircon installer, but once the support frame is up, maintenance can be done by owner themselve as the light-weight aircon can be slide back into the bedroom.

But seems like Midea only produces this aircon for the US market (120V) as no 220-240V units are available.
And don't think it is cost effective in China as even rural houses will go for single-split aircon that are priced quite similarly.
If fact I think the installation of single-split units are much simpler in China as only a 5-10cm hole need to be drilled in the exterior wall for the coolant/electric wire hose.

the sg market too small to test the product. if successful elsewhere, then it makes sense to develop similar products for casement and sliding windows
