I just bought a laptop i5 Gen 12.
But was thinking of a blade server system setup as I feel very under powered...many of the things I do just seem to heavy on the hardware.

Vega 7 graphic card/chip is sucks.
At least a Entry level graphic card like Geforce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon Rx 580 graphic card/ chip

If you ask this question then I don't think you should be building it yourself.

I dont recommend you do it yourself if you are a 装电脑小白。
Buying is simple. The difficult part is when you assemble them together you may face compatibility issue if you dont know where to the find right driver/ firmware/Bios to fix the problem due to some different brand peripheral/parts being used.

Only those DIY players like me will know how to fix it if encountering compatibility issue.

Think a cheap Celeron mini PC will suffice if one just need it for web surfing and simple office work.

E.g. S$250 for this mini PC that comes with 12GB ram and a 256GB SSD:
