eg if a company employ fresh grad in 2020 at $3700,
and increase yearly average of 3.3 percent increase for 4 years,
he or she cost less than newly fresh grad of 4500.

Also economy is slowing down.

AI robots are stealing college grads' jobs in 2025's 'Summer of Hallucination'
The Philadelphia Inquirer
Oxford Economics is reporting that the jobless rate for college grads ages 22 to 27 has spiked to 6%, compared to 4% for the general population. This suggests that essential work like construction or nursing is still doing OK but the job market for data analysts or code writers might be slipping.

If more innovative US face it, Sg will face it too as a small open economy.

Twenty five years ago my starting pay was 2800 as a fresh grad. Most grads today expect a lot more because bankers are starting near 10k and lawyers near 8k. But the bulk should understand that they cannot be expecting the same salary as professionals...
