don;t be silly to think of reducing populations. we need more people who are naturalised.  maybe 40m.  but our island cannnot handle it. so around 6m maybe nice already. sure some old time architects think the 50 story building can house more then 6m. but if all come to ground level at the same time, it will be body to body stacking together. worse if all go orchard rd.

Perhaps this is why there are so many regional shopping malls and online shopping is so popular. The Govt doesn't want so many people gathering in Orchard Rd.
