Russia has Iran, Turkey, a good number of east european countries {Belarus, Kyrgyzstan etc} from the former soviet bloc and even some rogue African nations as war allies, besides Tiongkok as a backing super power friend.
Putin has threatened to unleash its nuclear missiles on a number of NATO countries, including UK, should they step up their support in supplying weapons to help defend Ukraine.
