CPFWhy CPF Changed The Way Our Retirement Account (RA) Interest Rates Are Calculated
Retirement Account and Special Account will now pay the same interest rate – 4.08% in Jan-Mar 2024.

Given the low interest rate environment over the past 20 years, most of us were happy enough to earn the floor interest rates on our CPF accounts. While our CPF Ordinary Account (OA) earns a floor interest rate of 2.5%, our Special Account (SA), MediSave Account (MA) and Retirement Account (RA) earn a higher floor interest rate of 4.0%.

As global interest rates have risen sharply over the past 2 years, simply earning this minimum interest rate may is not as attractive anymore.

I am aghasted with his comments. Instead of rectifying the 10 areas, which to me includes discipline and performance management of his team, he goes around wanting to win back the consituencies. Seriously, based on this, he nor Lawrence Wong do not deserve anybit of winning back any GRC.

At the rate of 20k new citizens a year, 15 years would be 300K new citizens.

We cannot assume that they are all PAP supporters

Among the PG and the older portion of the MG, we can say that 7 in 10 voted for pap.

But new citizens? And yoomers and zoomers?

All 3 groups have zero knowledge of our early struggles. They only know the good life

Some cases already surfaced in FB. The actual nos. are in the dark. Sad for those who died and those that suffered serious side effects.
