PSP disappointed as PM Wong overlooks root issues in Singapore’s public housing policies

In response to PM Lawrence Wong's National Day Rally speech on housing, the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) expressed disappointment that the Government failed to address the root issues of public housing policies. PSP argued that increasing CPF housing grants continues existing policies without solving fundamental problems and urged consideration of PSP's Affordable Homes Scheme and Millennial Apartments Scheme.

They miss out is how to cool down HDB resale market. Is nonsense a HDB sell for million but they keep mention just not even 1 percent of all the sales.

HDB flats will return to the Govt at the end of 99 years. As only a paltry 4% of HDB flats have been identified for Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (Sers) since the scheme was launched in 1995, forking out exorbitant prices for older flats in anticipation of a windfall is risky. The steady and precipitous depreciation of such homes will destroy what many count on as a retirement asset.
