Turkey won't support a peace plan that involves freezing the war in Ukraine and Kyiv making territorial concessions to Moscow, Ukrinform reported on Nov. 29, citing Ukrainian lawmaker Ahtem Chiygoz. Media outlet also published a video purportedly showing an HUR flag waving over a building in Aleppo province, claiming Ukrainian military intelligence units were conducting a “special operation” in the country to “destroy Russian forces in Syria”. Putin's military has not reported any major attacks on their facilities in Middle Eastern country or any significant losses in recent months.

A loose coalition of Idlib-based militias and terrorist groups led by Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS), a terrorist group formerly known as Jabhat Al-Nusra, attacked government-controlled territory in Northern Syria on Wednesday. HTS was previously known as an Al-Qaeda affiliate.

The terrorists initially claimed to have seized around 400 square kilometers of territory and reached the city of Aleppo. Government forces have since halted the group’s advance, with both the Russian and Syrian air forces launching strikes against the militants in recent days.

In Dec. 5, 1994, Ukraine had signed a set of political agreements would guarantee country's sovereignty independence in return for accession to Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Signed in Budapest, memorandum would lay grounds for Ukraine to dispose of nuclear arsenal in return for U.S., the U.K. & Russia to guarantee not use economic & military means to attack country.

Within less than a year, Leonid Kravchuk, the first president of independent Ukraine, approved the Lisbon Protocol, protocol supplemented the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START I) signed between the Soviet Union and the U.S. in 1984.
