Putin Miscalculated is not only a Self-inflicted, it also to kill Ukraine

After enduring a Russian occupation, a manmade flood, and drone attacks that turned its streets into a human safari, the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson could soon be made completely unlivable. The extended range of Russian drones flown from across the Dnipro River has brought the main roads supplying Kherson — particularly the main highway connecting the city to Mykolaiv — under attack from the skies. Meanwhile, on Aug. 2 and 3.

Russia-controlled territories in Ukraine’s Donetsk region are not getting water, acute water shortage after Kyiv cut off supplies to areas under occupation, forcing Moscow-installed authorities to ration access consider desalination solutions.
The crisis that Ukraine last hope to save this Mariupol town pass up to Russia hand & now surrounding towns also escalating due to the Ukrainian govt’s decision >>halt water delivery through Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal, which had long served both Ukrainian-controlled and Russian-occupied parts of Donetsk region. The canal, now entirely under Ukrainian control, is no longer providing water to Russian control areas.
Pushilin argued Ukrainian actions amounted to “water terrorism,” while Kyiv said Putin gang is killing Innocent folks, under no obligation to supply utilities to occupied areas, particularly while Russia wages continue killing Ukraine folks as a very good example, a aggressive way for din care attitude by Russian state media have begun emphasizing water crisis as evidence of Ukraine’s alleged mistreatment of civilians in occupied zones, Putin's Russia-controlled territories in facing an acute water shortage,it is Russia to supplies to their areas under occupation, and forcing Moscow-installed authorities to ration access if they want (no problem for Ukraine to supply) & consider desalination solutions. This is not first time water infrastructure has become a strategic asset in the war.
In 2014, Ukraine dammed a key canal supplying Crimea, cutting off water access after Russia’s illegal annexation. The blockade was lifted only in 2022 following Russia’s renewed invasion and occupation of the region. In January 2024, UN for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs warned essential water infrastructure across frontline regions in Ukraine remains a top target of attacks civilians are bearing brunt of deliberate service disruption by military actors on both sides.
Earlier, see what Russia reported that Mykolaiv has endured a severe water crisis since April 2022, when a Russian missile strike destroyed main pipeline supplying the city with fresh water from the Dnipro River, the is what Russia can show UN and int'l countries. The Russia-installed head of the Donetsk region, Denis Pushilin, acknowledged that desalination plants may be constructed to address the water scarcity. In late July, he visited Crimea to inspect desalination infrastructure and assess its feasibility for Mariupol. There no plans or financing mechanisms have been confirmed.

The long-feared special forces unit that ‘wiped out’ a Russian battalion. A band of elite forces within Kyiv’s military intelligence, the Timur Special Unit has earned hero status. The sun had just risen over Ukraine’s Sumy region when Kyiv’s long-feared special forces unit launched one of the war’s most daring assaults. At least 334 enemy were killed & more than 550 wounded, Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) reported. The mission was executed by the Timur Special Unit, a band of elite forces within HUR that carry out clandestine ambushes and raids on land and at sea. Unit usually ops in the shadows, credited with some of the most sophisticated symbolic ops of 41-month war, earning troops almost mythical status in Ukraine. Its commander is Lt Col Timur, a nom de guerre for a man credited with sowing chaos panic in Russia’s rear whom Volodymyr Zelensky named the unit after. Deep behind Russian lines, commandos infiltrated enemy positions, cut off supply lines and destroyed command centres in a surprise attack, according to Kyiv – wiped out an entire Russian battalion & halted its offensive.
On August 24 2023 – Ukraine’s independence day – he became a hero to his countrymen when he planted a Ukrainian flag on Crimea for the first time after almost ten years of occupation. The daring raid on the Black Sea peninsula involved riding boats, then jet skis 125 miles to storm Russian base housed a powerful electronic warfare system had been jamming Kyiv’s missiles. Despite clashes with Russians, the target was hit & mission codenamed “Produdjenia sili” (the Force Awakens) – was lauded as significant military success. Perhaps more significant was the blunt message it sent: Russia was vulnerable. Crimeans would see we had come & Russians understand we can appear anywhere and at any time,” Lt Col Timur later said of the operation. One of HUR’s largest special forces units, not knowing how many soldiers are in Timur’s ranks, but it made up of a myriad of some 20 smaller units highly specialised in irregular warfare. Nobody & Raven units are known for their cutting-edge drone warfare on land & sea, while its Bratstvo “Brotherhood” Battalion excels in amphibious raids and sabotage ops on Russian territory. Spectre 33, also part of Timur’s forces, is a dedicated combat diving unit. A
peculiarity of special [Timur] unit is includes various units with unique skills, special training, enhanced by experience in modern warfare,” said Dmytro Zhmailo, military-political expert & executive director of Ukrainian Security & Cooperation Centre. “It is probably one of very first units since World War II to have carried deep raids with secret missions into Russian-controlled territories,” (they a very first unit (Timur), they should train more to lead more plan to enclose on enemy once they can then trap enemy troopers.) The Timur unit has taken part in some very bloodies battles
from holding “the road of life” in Bakhmut to morale-boosting coups, included liberation of Snake Island in the Black Sea to hunting down Russian mercenaries in Sudan, is like israel commandos...
“It is well-equipped with Western weaponry, deeply experienced on field battlefield, highly motivated & extremely effective.”
According to Ivan Stupak, Ukrainian military analyst, a former officer in Ukraine’s security service (SBU). In Sumy, such versatility of unit’s work was on display, he said, referring to their unique ability to seamlessly fight in trenches, forests, & in the air. Russia invaded northeastern front this year, with explicit aim of carving out a “buffer zone” to prevent further cross-border incursions by Ukraine into Russian border regions. HUR claimed Russian advance in Sumy was “stopped cold” * when Timur unit infiltrated enemy positions & “defeated” hundreds of Vladimir Putin’s soldiers in close-quarter fighting & support by air strikes. Nearly 1,000 Russian troops were killed or wounded, HUR said. It signed off a compilation video of multi-pronged attack: “(Timur) armed struggle and continue, continues! It Glory to Ukraine!.”
HUR did not specify the exact date or location of battle, but analysts and open-source intelligence show Russian offensive ops into the northeast region stalled in late May & action was carried out by forces of Chymera, Yunger, Stugna, Siberian Battalion, Aratta, 1514, Paragon, Art Division, First Line, Raven Group, & the 6th Special Ops Unit, which come under umbrella of the Timur unit.
In May, Timur unit carried out helicopter-assault in Kharkiv. Like assault in Sumy, it featured a deadly synchronisation of airpower, artillery, drone strikes ops & sabotage ops behind Russian lines, was a bid to thwart Russian attempts to cross Oskil river, which acts as a key natural defence against enemy forces reaching city of Kupyansk, a vital stronghold on northern fringe of frontline. HUR claimed special forces struck 600 underground enemy shelters, nine field ammunition depots, eight river crossings and killed or wounded 439 enemy troops. Their notable exploits have also seen them dispatched abroad.

Recent reports reveal the shocking extent of the war. We are no longer merely discussing the effects of artillery fire, drone attacks, or airstrikes. What is happening now points to events that are directly undermining soldier psychology, the chain of command, and trust within the military. Claims that commanders have been killed by their own soldiers in some units highlight that the war is not only causing a physical collapse but also a psychological one. The instinct for survival on the front lines has now become more dominant than even the chain of command. In particular, in recent weeks, the mass surrender of some Russian units or their rebellion against their commanders shows how shaken the military order has become.
The prolonged war, loss of morale, heavy casualties, and strategic uncertainty seem to have placed a heavy burden on the soldiers. In this situation, where trust within the unit has been lost and survival has become the priority, it is reported that some soldiers have made decisions that are difficult to believe. Some are pointing their weapons at their own officers to escape the battlefield, while others r attempting to save themselves through mass surrender. Such incidents necessitate an analysis of the war not only in terms of its political or military dimensions but also its psychological and social impacts. Are these isolated incidents, or are they signs of a larger breakdown? What do these divisions within the Russian army signify? Do the killings of commanders and mass surrenders merely reflect the despair on the front lines, or are they harbingers of developments that could alter the course of the war? We will now examine the answers to all these questions and the details behind the scenes together.

Video released by Defence Intelligence of Ukraine drew our initially identified as strike on a 96L6 radar, S-400 air defense system – turned out not tobe 96L6. After

The radar system underwent trials in 2020–2021 and, according to open sources, was officially adopted into service in April 2021. Ukraine Waited for North Korea’s Tank Convoy to Enter — Then Crushed Them All...When North Korea’s massive tank convoy crossed the border, they thought Ukraine would retreat. Instead, Ukraine unleashed a perfectly planned ambush that turned the battlefield into chaos. Within minutes, shells tore through armor, drones hunted from above, and every escape route was sealed. Ukraine’s forces struck with precision, leaving wreckage scattered across the fields. This was not just a battle—it was a statement that Ukraine would never bow. Watch how Ukraine’s strategy, courage, and firepower crushed an entire armored advance, sending a clear warning to any who dare challenge Ukraine.

Announcement comes as Ukrainian drone industry has been trying months to push limits of FPV interceptors. Units are increasingly looking to these low-cost drones, once a novel concept on the battlefield, as a solution against the Iranian-designed Shahed. Russia, which manufactures the Shahed locally, has drastically increased number of these exploding drones it deploys at a time, pairing them with ballistic missiles to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses.
But new enemy tactics allow Shaheds to fly higher & faster, also made it more difficult for machine gun squads, a core pillar of air defense for Ukraine, to hit loitering munitions reliably.
An interceptor drone's speed is key as uncrewed system must be fast enough to catch up to the Shahed. The Shahed-136, standard loitering munition used in Russia's drone waves, flies at about 115 miles per hour.

When reports first emerged of the Sting's existence in the fall of 2024, the drone's baseline was to fly faster than 100 miles per hour. With video announcement, it has now been recorded notching nearly double that speed. One of industry's rising stars, Sting is being deployed in active combat, though it's unclear at what scale. The Wild Hornets have said one interceptor costs $2,500 & Ukrainian pilots already used drone Sting to destroy roughly 100 Shahed drones.
Still a small contribution to total volume of Moscow's drone attacks launched over 6,000 Shaheds decoys July alone.
But Ukraine hopes interceptor drones will soon shore up the gap in its air defenses. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a goal for the country to build 1,000 interceptor drones daily. Kyiv's forces generally report shooting down or disabling between 86 to 89% of Russia's Shaheds, meaning that several hundred still get through a month. The reported interception and disabling rate was 82% in May. Russia, meanwhile pushing drone tech of its own reported to be testing & deploying jet-powered versions of Shahed, believed to be modeled after improved Iranian design can fly up to 500 miles/hour.
Russia's rumored jet-powered versions of the Iranian Shahed are appearing in Ukraine's air defense reports. Enemy is making so many Iranian Shahed drones that it could soon launch 2,000 of them in a single night. Ukraine's special ops soldiers are getting into more 'mischief' behind Russian lines Amid Ukraine's elite soldiers are finding other ways to cause problems for enemy. Ukraine are pumping millions of dollars into drones built to kill Russian ones attacking its cities.

Azov battalion now fighting Putin’s soldiers in close-quarter fighting in today, this important updates from the Pokrovsk direction. Here, on eastern flank, enemy forces conducted massive push to try to cut off Ukrainian lines to Pokrovsk & try to starve out defenders. However, Russians quickly got stuck in fortifications that guard backwand of the Ukrainian defense line, now intense close-quarters battles breaking out, the latest enemy adjustment of summer offensive, enemy forces are now concentrating efforts on encircling Pokrovsk from the east. Despite being initially promising, failed encirclement efforts from the west fail unsuccessful to infiltration, attempts from south were both successfully pushed back by Ukrainian defenders. Ukrainians improved their tactical standing, stalling further enemy momentum, which enemy changed their strategy toward targeting logistics on western flank. However, cannot be said for eastern flank. After making headway, enemy forces rapidly shifted focus to this sector, capitalizing on their momentum to push deeper and reach the strategically vital settlement of Rodynske. Their objective is now clear: cut supply lines, to threaten Pokrovsk &
Myrnohrad from behind, force Ukrainian defense into a semi-encircled position.
Rodynske has emerged as a focal point in Russia’s ops plan due to its position directly behind Pokrovsk & Myrnohrad, that allows it to serve as a logistical & tactical keystone for both towns. Capturing would open a dangerous axis of advance from rear, collapsing supply routes & placing added pressure on Ukrainian units holding line. Recognizing this, Russian commanders are pouring reinforcements into the area, prioritizing capture of dense urban environment of Rodynske, cab offer enemy both protection for troop concentrations & is a ideal conditions to launch drone ops over another 25 km farther away. If secured, enemy drone teams position in Rodynske could launch strikes with ease across a 15 to 25 kilometer radius, can hit key Ukrainian staging areas & logistical hubs. If enemy look at the topographic map, one can immediate see threat easily extend west toward Hryshyne, which sits in a lowland would be vulnerable to attack. Additionally, this would allow Russians to gain access to the same high ground that Pokrovsk is sitting on & would open up attack routes directly from behind. For now, however, main Russian effort remains squarely focused on breaking Ukrainian resistance in Rodynske.
So fierce battle by Ukrainian soldiers for the settlement has already begun, with high-intensity engagements playing out on its eastern approaches. Yet this shift is now being met with fierce Ukrainian resistance centered on Rodynske, quickly growing to be of extreme importance. Its defense is about protecting the entire Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad sector from collapse, as if Rodynske falls, door to encirclement opens for however, especially for enemy, for Ukrainian forces are now holding, fighting house to house & striking back w/every weapons available. In 1 case, the wife of vanished commander was told he run away, no further contact has been made. Such disappearances serve as a warning: obedience is enforced through fear, & dissent is erased without a trace. Overall, despite chaos these infiltration attempts cause for the defenders.
General picture in Pokrovsk remains in Ukraine’s favor. The destruction of southern sabotage groups, combined w/capture of surviving infiltrators, shows Russian command gambling everything for even a minor symbolic gains in Pokrovsk. W/success rates near zero, & casualty rates between 80 & 100%, these ops less about achieving breakthroughs more to demonstrating activity to higher political leadership. Ukrainian forces remain on high alert, aware that similar infiltration patterns are now being tested from the east. For now, Pokrovsk holds, but Russians appear willing to keep feeding cannon fodder into the grinder in a desperate bid to change, regardless of the human cost...

With others battalion supported & lead by Azov battalion fight enemy soldiers hiding & in close-quarter fighting, this be cone important updates on the Pokrovsk direction. Here, on eastern flank, enemy forces conducted massive push to try to cut off Ukrainian lines to Pokrovsk. Battalion now fighting Putin’s soldiers in close-quarter fighting...Russian soldiers & commanders, as they are pouring reinforcements into the area, prioritizing capture of dense urban environment of Rodynske, cab offer enemy both protection for troop concentrations & is a ideal conditions to launch drone ops over another 25 km farther away...if the Russian did a real good job. But not, they are not successful at all.![]()
