When Hamas asked for ceasefire, US and satankuku also gave the same reason to reject the idea. Putin is a fast learner.

Putin was tricked by the Minsk 1 & 2 "peace treaties" the West used to arm Ukraine
The West will use the 30 days "ceasefire" to pull out thousands of Ukrainian troops that are surrounded in Kursk and re-arm them
Trump has no cards left to dictate terms to Putin

Russia is determined to finish off the Nato threat once & for all
They are seeking to change the security architecture so that the West cannot pull off the same trick again...meaning by the time the war ends, you wont see much of Ukraine left
And this is why Britain is planning to introduce a military draft to prepare Brits to go to the frontlines

The U.S. opposes settling Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine as a frozen conflict, Presidential Office Head Andriy Yermak said on March 13.
"We have been very clear that we will never agree to a frozen conflict. We are very much against it, and our positions align with our American partners," Yermak said.
Speaking on national television, Yermak said that the Ukraine-U.S. meeting in Saudi Arabia on March 11 – which he had led – and a U.S.-proposed 30-day ceasefire are just the beginning, with more work ahead.
Kyiv agreed to a temporary truce, provided that Russia did as well. Days after, on March 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he is ready to agree to the proposal but demands guarantees that Kyiv will not mobilize or train troops, nor receive military aid during it.

Washington opposed an agreement that would be similar to the 1994 Budapest Memorandum or the 2014-2015 Minsk agreements, which failed to prevent or stop Russia's aggression, Yermak said.
According to Yermak, the Ukrainian and American delegations also agreed that European representatives would participate in the peace process.
Keith Kellogg, U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy, said earlier that Europe will not be directly involved in negotiations to end Russia's war in Ukraine, but its interests will be considered.

Trump thinks Putin is his friend. He trusts Putin. Has said in just the past few weeks, “Putin says he wants peace, & I trust him. I think if he didn't want peace, he would tell me.” So that gives you a pretty good idea of how he sees Putin.

John Bolton on how Putin plays Trump and why separating Russia from China is 'almost impossible'...

1) U.S. President Donald Trump speaks with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Danang, Vietnam, on Nov. 11, 2017.
Interview, Trump & Russia, Russia, US, Ukraine, War, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Volodymyr Zelensky, Peace Talks, China, Trump & Ukraine
Instead of approaching the war in Ukraine from a geopolitical or moral perspective, U.S. President Donald Trump is framing his policy on Russia through the lens of his personal relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton.
“Trump thinks Putin is his friend. He trusts Putin,” Bolton told the Kyiv Independent. But for “Putin thinks Trump is an easy mark. puyin a former KGB agent, Putin knows exactly how to manipulate him, and I think that's what he's been doing since the inauguration, if not before,” he explained.
Bolton served as the national security advisor to Trump from 2018-2019 during his first administration. Bolton's 2020 memoir, “The Room Where It Happened,” offers a candid account of the tumultuous turn his working relationship with Trump took, highlighting his concerns about Trump's ability to effectively lead, including his impulsive decision-making on complex policy issues and lack of understanding of the importance of a strong U.S. foreign policy.
In an interview with the Kyiv Independent, Bolton provided his insight on why Trump appears so eager to appease the Kremlin, why any U.S. attempt to align with Russia to deter China would be a "fantasy," and the opportunities the U.S. has missed for more than a decade to deter Russian aggression not only in Ukraine but beyond.
This interview was conducted several hours before Putin signaled he was ready for a ceasefire on the condition that Ukraine doesn’t receive more military aid or build its military. It has been edited for length and clarity.

The Kyiv Independent: Trump has repeatedly claimed that negotiating with Russia is easier than with Ukraine. Despite Russia’s nightly attacks on Ukraine, he continues to insist that Putin wants peace. Why do you think Trump is so eager to cater to the Kremlin's interests, especially when they have such maximalist demands?
John Bolton: Trump has said many times publicly that he believes if he has good relations with a foreign head of state, then the U.S. has good relations with that country. And the opposite is also true. If he has bad relations with a foreign head of state, U.S. relations with that country are bad. Trump thinks Putin is his friend. He trusts Putin. He has said in just the past few weeks, “Putin says he wants peace, and I trust him. I think if he didn't want peace, he would tell me.” So that gives you a pretty good idea of how he sees Putin.
Now, I don't think Putin thinks he's Trump's friend at all. I think Putin thinks Trump is an easy mark. As a former KGB agent, Putin knows exactly how to manipulate him, and I think that's what he's been doing since the inauguration, if not before.
The notion that Russia is easy to deal with dates back to 2018, when Trump left Washington for the NATO summit — where he nearly withdrew from the alliance — before heading to Helsinki for a bilateral meeting with Putin. As he was leaving the White House to get on helicopter Marine One, he said to the assembled press,
“You know, I've got this NATO meeting, then I'm going to meet Prime Minister Theresa May in London, then I'm going to meet Putin in Helsinki. You know, the meeting with Putin could be the easiest of them all. Who would think it?”

Germany continues to stand with Ukraine – the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has brought immeasurable suffering to millions of people. The war is directly affecting not only Ukrainian soldiers who are defending their homeland and Europe’s security on the front lines, but also the civilian population, including elderly people, women and children. The Russian armed forces’ targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure, including on the power plants that produce heat and electricity, as well as on the water supply, are particularly perfidious. Russia is thereby attempting to wear down the people in Ukraine and deprive them of what they need to live. This is why the German Government is giving top priority to providing swift assistance to the Ukrainians in these fields.
So that Ukraine can protect itself and defend our peace in Europe, the German Government has, since the start of the war, made available around 43.62 billion euro in bilateral support for Ukraine (as of 31 December 2024); this aid includes the critical area of air defence, a substantial winter assistance programme and energy assistance, help for those who have fled Ukraine, humanitarian assistance, mine clearance operations and assistance with efforts to investigate and document war crimes. Furthermore, Ukraine and Germany signed a bilateral agreement on security cooperation on 16 February 2024.

Sorry to say msm got it wrong that Putin is warming up to the 30 days ceasefire
He wants a 300 years peace deal
One where Ukraine can no longer be used by the West as the knife tip to kill Russia & make a mince meat of it
And one where the unelected Zelensky is not part of the plan

Ukraine must be able to defend itself against Russia’s war of aggression, which violates international law. Germany is therefore supporting Ukraine by supplying arms & equipment, from its Bundeswehr stockpiles and from defence industry deliveries are paid for out of the German Govt’s budget providing this assistance, the German Govt tailors its aid to the needs of Ukraine continuously explores where it can step up its assistance, e.g. with regard to air defence. To date, German assistance has included 3 PATRIOT systems, 6 IRIS-T SLM & 5 IRIS-T SLS air defence systems, & 57 Gepard self-propelled armoured air defence gun systems including 241,000 ammunition rounds.
In EU, agreement was reached on the establishment of European Peace Facility (EPF) support measures for armed forces of Ukraine to the tune of 5.5 billion euro. Measures take the form of a refinancing mechanism for equipment supplied on a bilateral basis & repair services provided by the EU Member States. Member States contribute to this on basis of a cost share formula that reflects their respective gross national income. Germany’s contribution for the time period of 2022-2027 amounts to approximately 1.4 billion euro. Mandatory contributions totalling 506 million euro have already been paid. In March 2024, a decision was taken to establish Ukraine Assistance Fund within EPF,& target for initial volume was set at an additional 5 billion euro by the year 2027.

Everyone will be doomed. But the West will be doomed twice.
Once, after it launched a preemptive strike using nuclear tipped missiles deployed in Europe near Russia (the West thinks that by inching Nato closer to Russia, it can beat Russian nukes first before they can be launched in counterstrike). Do you now see why Russia is hellbent on preventing Nato expansion to its doorsteps?
Twice, after it has been obliterated by Russian counterstrike in the first wave, when everyone is dead, the Russian Perimeter/Dead Hand will come to life & auto-launch a second wave onto Europe.
By the way it is the USA that withdrew from the Anti Ballistic Missile Treaty & the Intermediate Range Nuclear Force Treaty meant to curb the nuclear arms race.
And, it is the USA that supplied & approved ATACMS missiles & targeting data to be used by Ukraine against Moscow, prompting Russia to lower its nuclear threshold. In other words, the USA attacked Russia, using Ukrainian fingers to pull the trigger.

ATACMS hv to be used against Russia because they initiate the attack first on Ukraine. The aggressor who gave the first strike wil hv to be punished. Cannot simply give-in to Putin threats to reign the whole world. Best is Russia diminished from the map. It is clear how evil Putin aided Syria, Myanmar and even north Korea for supplying weapons to kill their civilians.
