Advanced Parental Age: Older paternal age, especially, has been linked to a slightly increased risk of autism.

* Prenatal Exposures: Exposure to certain environmental toxins, such as air pollution or pesticides, during pregnancy may increase the risk.

* Maternal Health: Conditions like maternal obesity, diabetes, or immune system disorders during pregnancy have been associated with a higher risk of autism.

My neighbour'son is autistic. The couple was not old when giving birth to him. But few years after he was born, the man was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. I believe autistic is caused by defective gene in the parents.
