Russia destroys Western weapons delivered to Ukraine

Russia’s Defense Ministry said Monday that a logistics center near the Ukrainian city of Lviv was hit with high precision missiles, destroying large batches of weapons that were delivered to Ukraine from the US and European countries over the past six days.
Also, 16 more targets were hit with high-precision missiles, including two control points, two strongholds of units of Ukrainian troops and places of concentration of personnel and military equipment, ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing in Moscow.
The Russian Aerospace Forces hit 84 military facilities of Ukraine, including a plant for the repair of warheads of Tochka-U tactical missiles, 47 areas of concentration of enemy manpower with military equipment and 22 firing positions of artillery of Ukrainian troops, he noted.
The Strategic Rocket Forces and artillery struck 331 military facilities in Ukraine, he said, including nine control points, a warehouse of missile and artillery weapons, 11 armored vehicles, five guns and 12 automobiles as well as 315 areas of concentration of enemy manpower in the areas of the Popasnaya and Novomayorskoye settlements.
"As a result of the strike (in the areas of the Popasnaya and Novomayorskoye settlements), up to 120 nationalists and nine pieces of military equipment were destroyed near the settlement of Novotoshkovskoye.
"In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 139 aircraft, 483 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 250 air defense systems, 2,337 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 254 multiple rocket launchers, 1,009 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 2,196 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed," Konashenkov said.
