Summary
44,060 subjects equally distributed into two groups.
One group received Dose 1 of Pfizer vax and the other group received Placebo control (Normal saline).
Importantly, the trial showed a 3.7-fold increase in deaths due to cardiovascular events among those who took the BNT162b2 series of injections – an increase that Pfizer-BioNTech conveniently failed to report.
Once that EUA was issued, the "placebo" group were offered the Pfizer injection at week 20 (5 months after trial started).
Most of them accepted.
Pfizer-BioNTech reported that
number of deaths in vaccinated versus placebo showed *"no significant difference"*, but the placebo was removed.
