So, why God suddenly lose the ability to forgive sins like in the time of Ezekiel?

You said Ezekiel was for the Israelites. Does that mean the Israelites don't need Jesus to die for their sins?

When I ask questions, the answers you gave will raise more questions. Take the example of Ezekiel 18. You said only for Israelites. So the next question is: the Israelites don't need Jesus to die for their sins because God can just forgive them if they repent, amend, and keep the commandments?

What is so difficult? Jesus died for everyone, still the israelites rejected Him because they kept to the old laws when clearly Eziekiel foretold the coming of the Messiah and a new convenant between God and humanity...

If you follow the Israelites, you will be a Jew now...so you a moslem or a jew

Those old ceremonial laws found in the OT has been fulfilled by Jesus...

The Hadiths are funny..the moslems say it is authentic but I said it is not because it is so funny..

The Quran contradicts the previous scriptures...so we know some of it cannot be from Allah...
Some parts of the infancy gospel of Thomas which the churches rejected can be found in it.. Big Grin

Old man is going to paradise one way or the other...this is what Islam taught...hell is temporary!
But our 2 friends insist on arguing..the Quran says it is permanent, scholars and other commentaries say it is not...

We have seen many videos of moslems doing dawah and they sell the idea to non moslems that if they become a moslem they will go to heaven eventually...

This is how they up sell their religion by giving wrong infomation to the public

In the Bible, while Jesus' initial ministry was primarily focused on the "lost sheep of Israel," his ultimate purpose was to offer salvation to all people, including Gentiles. Jesus did say he was sent to the "lost sheep of Israel" (Matthew 15:24), which some interpret as a focus on his initial ministry within the Jewish community. However, the Bible also highlights the universality of God's plan and the gospel, which applies to all people.

Key points:
  • Initial Focus on Israel:
Jesus' ministry began with a focus on the Israelites, particularly the "lost sheep" within the Jewish community (Matthew 15:24).

  • Universal Salvation:
The Bible also emphasizes God's broader plan to draw all peoples to himself, including Gentiles (Romans 1:17, Luke 4:14-21).

  • Disciples' Instructions:
Initially, Jesus instructed his disciples to stay within the borders of Israel, not to go to Gentile areas (Matthew 10:5-6).

  • Gentile Followers:
Despite this, Gentiles did follow Jesus and received his blessings, demonstrating the universal nature of his message (Matthew 15:21-28).

  • "Lost Sheep" Interpretation:
Some interpret "lost sheep of Israel" as those within the Jewish faith who were scattered and needed guidance, not necessarily all non-believing Gentiles.

  • New Covenant:
Jesus' ministry ultimately led to the establishment of a new covenant, which was for the whole world (Matthew 10:5-6).

Hell is eternal in the Bible...

Islam believe that sins can be BBQ away through hell fire...once the sins are burnt away..there will be no more sins and then accepted to heaven...

How wonderful is that! I really like the idea

They do not repent wholeheartedly because they know they only need to be BBQ for some time and they will go heaven...

Hell is just a prison sentence...they will get out eventually

According to you, Jesus don't need to die for the Israelites because God can forgive them if they repent.

Yes I asked him did he take sugar
He said yes why not
I put 2 and the cup looks full with creamer and coffee powder still waiting for the water to boil
Saw him in his church with unhappy face still waiting for my coffee and he has no words to speak to the congregation
Thousands of people still waiting for him to preach
Then finally the water was boiled but only filled three quarters of the cup so I boil again
Finally the coffee is ready but I woke up

Yes..Jesus needs to be sacrificed so that there will be no more sacrifices required...isnt that merciful to all creations or you like to see blood shed everyday?

Animal sacrifices were a way for the Israelites to acknowledge their sins and seek reconciliation with God....we don follow it anymore .I know the moslems enjoy showing off their obedience to God by performing a massacre on the lambs .

God loves the sight of blood, deaths and cries isnt it Big Grin

When Paul was writing his arguments against Peter to the Galatians, did he know that he was writing, as you said, God's word?

Let's us put aside whether peter knew if Paul was God's inspired...

Peter knew that Paul had truth on his side – so much so that in one of his own letters, he commended Paul’s writing as “scripture” (2 Peter 3:15-16)

So did any companions of Muhammad say that his revelations are indeed from God or are they fearful to question him
