According to Matthew, Jesus referred to the gentiles as dogs.

That is a blanket statement

From the very beginning, I already said we can never be sure of what Jesus actually said. See my post from earlier.

Jesus said, according to the Bible, explicitly, that if you want to be saved, you must keep the commandments. Do you keep the commandments?

On top of that, we don't know for sure what Jesus actually said. His message has been corrupted through translations, interpretations, and embellishments.

Your poetry says that we look at woman like a piece of meat...that is a derogatory way to describe women

The verse didn't say "little dogs" or "pet dogs".

The verse said the Israelites are children and the Samaritans (Gentiles) are dogs.

Anyhow, you're thinking that in Jesus days there were nice little cute dogs we see in Singapore today.

“And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.””

Dogs are known for their unwavering, unconditional love, often putting their owners' needs and well-being before their own

I agree. I like dogs.

But in the context of what the author of Matthew wrote, it is racist and I don't believe Jesus would make such a derogatory statement.

““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.”

I already told you that I don't believe Jesus said that. I believe the author of Matthew was the racist guy.

Obviously your understanding of Matthew is poor...Jesus speaks in a metaphorical sense but you are taking it literally...sometimes I doubt if you are naive or a 7yrs old?

If a Chinese guy refers to the Chinese people as humans and the Malays as dogs, is that racist?

In Matthew 15:26, Jesus uses the phrase "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs"

Jesus did say that ...where else can you find other racist verse in Matthew...just one verse and you deem him racist? You are shallow isnt it

That is again a false equivalent...Jesus was explaining a situation while you are making a claim

Yes, and the situation is simple to understand. According to Matthew, and I must stress that point coz I don't believe Jesus said it, Jesus said he was sent only to the children of Israel. And he referred to the children of Israel as children and others as dogs.

You made a big deal about this.

Another thing.. why do you call it a poetry? It's not. Its just that man's way of telling us to not look at women lustfully.

It is a big deal .will you tell your wife a piece of meat, an animal?

The exact word Jesus used here, in Greek, was kunarion, meaning “small dog” or “pet dog.”..and you are saying Jesus literally call the gentiles dogs..
Jesus didn't just make up ...infact the jews have been calling them "dogs" because they are unclean

The author should honestly convey that a horny man should not gaze at a woman with lustful intent.
No need to bring up ape and dog lah

If you look at a woman with lust, you are succumbing to your animal instinct.

Isn't it racist that they call other races dogs because they consider them unclean?

This is the problem when they think they are the superior race, the so-called "chosen people".

Cry it is appropriate to use the words " animal instinct" but no need to expand and elaborate on the animals we will become
