Scripture readings for Christmas

(Yesterday, 09:46 AM)Lukongsimi Wrote:  Pagans sacrificed human to appease their gods
While God sacrifice His only begotten son to save humanity
When Abraham was about to kill his son Isaac for sacrifice as testing God stop him and a lamb was ready prepared by God to be killed for sacrifice
What does that tells you?

Why didn’t your God have a Chinese, African or Indian son?

Why should he be a blonde Caucasian ?

Like they hated Jesus, you Christian hate Muhammad.

Why do you hate Muhammad?

Do Muslim hate Jesus?

Translation: When Allah said, ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself, and will clear thee from the charges of those who disbelieve, and will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ. [3:56]

So did Jesus died or Allah raise him alive?

The Islamic dilemma continues

˹Remember˺ when Allah said, “O Jesus! I will take you1 and raise you up to Myself. I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and I will settle all your disputes.”Quran 3:55

If he is coming back alive on his second coming, He should have been raised alive

As per your belief, was he raised alive?
Will he decend alive?

Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 45

Why is Allah so heartless that he needs to cause Jesus to die

Before Jesus, God saved humanity by just forgiving them.

So how come suddenly God cannot just forgive anymore?

Jesus's prayer in the garden of Gethsemane shows that he pleaded with God to rescue him. That means he doesn't want to go through that, correct?

Yes, we have a minority of scholars who differ in their interpretation of that verse. Either way, it doesn't present a problem for us.

You believe the Father is God and Jesus is God.

So God sacrificed another God to save mankind when previously, God can just forgive mankind. Is that what you believe? Does that make sense to you?

So the Quran isnt clear if Allah cause Him to die first?
I see why no one would bothered to corrupt the Quran? Because there are way too many interpretations...

For eg
If you think God unalive Peter ..pls turn to page 120
If you think God raise Peter to Himself , turn to page 150...

Jesus was obedient “ Father is your will not my will “
Jesus prayed
Three times in the Garden of Gethsemane. He prayed for strength to endure the upcoming suffering, expressing his desire for the "cup" of suffering to be taken away if possible, but ultimately affirming his willingness to submit to God's will. He also urged his disciples to stay awake and pray with him

If I read the Yusuf Ali translation, I would interpret it as God being good. However, if I read another version that says God "unalived" him first, it would imply that your God lacks compassion.....zapping him and ending his life on the way up.

Can I trust the Quran 100% ? Absolutely not!

Today is Pentecost Sunday lah! Big Grin The Holy Spirit descended on the disciples of Jesus while they were gathered to pray lah! That marked the beginning of Christianity lah! "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Jesus said that in Acts 1:8 lah!

What did Ezekiel teach? If the sinner stops sinning, repents, keeps the commandments, and makes amends, God will erase his sin. No mention of a blood sacrifice.

So how come suddenly God must have blood?

We all can only pray, and ultimately, God decides.

Likewise, Jesus also prayed to be saved from the Romans. That means he doesn't want to be tortured on the cross. Correct?

I question the narrative. It doesn't add up.

The one thing the devil wants most is for you to associate partners with the 1 true God, and you are doing exactly that.
