Scripture readings for Christmas

(25-07-2025, 09:17 PM)Lukongsimi Wrote:  The Edomites, an ancient people mentioned in the Old Testament, primarily inhabited the region south of the Dead Sea, in what is now southwestern Jordan and southern Israel. This area, often referred to as the land of Edom or Idumea, included territories east of the Arabah valley and extended towards the Gulf of Aqaba. Their stronghold was Mt. Seir, located northeast of modern-day Eilat.

Edomites are red skinned people
Are u one?
Abraham n Isaac were not Moslem

If Edomite are red skinned,Israelites ?

Muslim is an Arabic word which means obeying to oneness of God. Did Abraham, Isaac obey to one God or Trinity?

When did the Holy Trinity begin?

[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRRBqgwT4kR2L6mtJBC-A8...ew6DvByc&s]
325 CE

The Holy Trinity consists of the Father God, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. This Trinity is a central belief in most Christian sects and was officially decided upon by church officials from the Roman Empire in 325 CE

“O Prophet! We have made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their ˹full˺ dowries as well as those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession, whom Allah has granted you.And ˹you are allowed to marry˺ the daughters of your paternal uncles and aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and aunts, who have emigrated like you. Also ˹allowed for marriage is˺ a believing woman who offers herself to the Prophet ˹without dowry˺ if he is interested in marrying her—˹this is˺ exclusively for you, not for the rest of the believers. We know well what ˹rulings˺ We have ordained for the believers in relation to their wives and those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession. As such, there would be no blame on you. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Quran 33:50

As a prophet, he should have upheld the law to the highest standard and served as a role model for everyone to emulate, rather than making exceptions for himself.

The prophets can have many wives because God did not impose a restriction...but Muhammad came up with the lucky number 4

No ..God scattered the israelites across the world because of their disobedience and now gathers them back

Jeremiah 31:10 reads: "Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off, and say, 'He who scattered Israel will gather him, and will keep him as a shepherd does his flock.'"

Jacob intention was only marry Rachel but was tricked by his father in law.
Rachel  gave her maid to Jacob as wife to help her bear children
Leah followed n thus Jacob had 2 wives 2 concubines
2 concubines total 5 children
Wives 8 children

If Jesus is God, Son of God or God in flesh, How can you connect a lineage to him?

How can God have a human lineage?

Remember there was no Israel until 1948. Arab armies from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt attack Israel but they fail... Why? Because God was with them...back then, 4 israelis soldiers per rifle and they still resist the attack..

No, John the Baptist was not married. He had lived in the desert as an anchorite or hermit from his youth before undertaking his ministry, which ended with his martyrdom at Herod’s orders.

He married those women for multiple reasons.
It was also normal to have many wives in their society until it was restricted to four.

Prophet Married his second wife after living with first wife for 24 years.

He married all other 10 wives with in next ten years .Eight of them could live with him 3-4 years only.

No. John the Baptist didn’t get marry . I mentioned his name as he was the last prophet before Jesus.

Prophet didn’t suggest 4. It is from Quran. Allah knows his creation. May be some men want to marry like this
1. Black 2. White 3. Yellow 4. Brown
1. Tall 2. Short 3. Fat 4. Skinny
1. Religious 2. Professional 3. Quite 4. Rich.

What are you talking about? We were discussing whether Abraham and Issac are following trinity.

Animal sacrifice during Hari haji is to mark the occasion of Abraham willingness to sacrifice his son.Nothing to do with salvation.

Again. Hagar was Prophet Abraham's wife, not a concubine. Stop belittling the wives of a great prophet, pbuh.

So, do you think a great prophet would throw out his son and his wife because his other wife demanded it?

That is how a liar survives

Not even once. You have never proven I'm a liar. You can only throw accusations with nothing to substantiate them.

When I said the Trinity verse was omitted from many modern Bibles, you called me a liar, but after I proved it, you went quiet.

Every time I wrote something that you disagreed with, you called me a liar.

You're the liar.
