Ishmael was first born to Abraham.That’s the reason.
In the sight of Allah, Both are wives.
Instead of Abraham,If Sarah was a prophet or righteous woman like Mary ,Allah could have blessed Isaac first.However She was a barren woman and in her old age.

Muslims are not descendants of Ishmael.It is only the tribe of Prophet Muhammad.S0, 99.99% Muslim aren’t the descendants of Ishmael.
I believe all the Christian aren’t the descendants of Isaac.

It is not in the Torah and the bible..where do you get this story... God showed a special favor to Isaac over Ishmael..why would he pay attention to the son of a slave girl ..this is not befitting of Him to do so

Allah is the creator of all human beings.Why don’t you question yourself ,
1)why should God/ Jesus create a child through slave women first?Not through Sarah since he was capable of doing miracles?
2) Why should God/Jesus create Sarah a barren
3) Why should God/Jesus allow Abraham the patriarch to have illegitimate child?

All the 25 prophets were obedient to Allah.
In the bible, all of the prophets are not righteous.In Islam all are righteous.Otherwise they can’t be a prophet.
