To many this is just a biblical story with no basis in reality. How is it possible that God would deign to expose his hand writing on a wall in full view of mere sinners. As someone who has born witness and experienced many miracles myself, I can tell you it is a true account. Jesus himself has written in his followers' books before. Hence the example of the text which was added later to John's testimony could have been the work of a human or supernatural. Whether it is one or the other, even after you discount it, John's testimony that Jesus is One with his Father, God, still holds true .

I and the Father are one. - John 10:30

We must ask the question, what does Jesus mean by that? Does it mean Jesus and the Father make one God? Jesus also said the disciples would be one with the Father too. Does that mean Jesus, the Father, and the disciples make one God too?

If there are falsehoods....I would like to hear from you first

Yes, they are false.

The Shariah law in Brunei caned people for being in close proximity with an unrelated opposite gender. If Shariah law forbids even that, what do you think about ons?

They never teach the Arabic language?

We must learn how to recite the Quran, how to do ablution, how to do solah, etc. So we go to religious classes to learn the basics of the religion in order to practice it.

Good question. Yes, Jesus is the Head and His Church, His body. This makes his followers who are one with him [love Jesus and follow his teachings] sons of God as well. We are mere mortals, but we are gifted with immortality if we become one with Jesus who is one with God.

I believe 100% that Prophet Moses parted the Red Sea. I wasn't there to witness it but it is mentioned in the Quran. The Quran is my criteria for believing past miracles. Sadly, there is no mention of that particular miracle in the Quran so I cannot say I believe or disbelieve it.

Do you know that we no longer have the original writings of the book of John? What we have are copies of copies of the writings which later became known as the book of John. How did the scholars come to that conclusion? Because of the thousands of manuscripts found recently, they all differ from one another. They don't know which writings are the original ones written by the author of the book of John.

In that same vein, when Jesus said "I and the Father are one", it means Jesus love the Father follows whatever the Father tells him. It does not mean Jesus is equal to God.

No one is saying that Jesus is God, the Father.
Jesus is God, the Son. He is of and from God.  But the Holy Trinity is One God.

I'm sure you would like it to be true but sorry, it is not true.

Islam doesn't even allow men and women to mingle freely. In Kelantan, they even have separate checkout lines for men and women in supermarkets.

John 8:58
Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

John 10:30
29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. [30] I and my Father are one. [31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. [32] Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

John 14:9
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Clearly Jesus claimed to be God! If you Ali can come back from the dead..you will be my god! Big Grin this I promise you!

When a man said divorce 3 times in a rage...that divorce took its effect immediately.
So if the couple regret and want to reconcile...the ex wife must first get married to another guy then pleads with him for a divorce....usually the guy will ask for sex and money before accepting her request!

Then  after, the lady can go back to her first husband! That is the truth!

So, when Jesus said "I and the Father are one", he could mean just like what you've said earlier, that Jesus loves the Father and follows what the Father tells him.

So, John 10:30 is, at best, an ambiguous statement that you cannot use to convince others that Jesus is God.

If you don't know Shariah law, please don't tell us you know the truth.

The man can retract the divorce pronouncement within 2 months and the marriage will remain intact. After 3 months, they must remarry (nikah) if they want to get back together again. They can only do this twice.

I usually will refrain from discussing the Shariah law because it is not fit for forum discussion between some random Malay with a random Chinese.

You can divorce your wife 3 times and married her back 3 times...on the fourth time, she needs to married another man and consumate! Then after she can ask for a divorce and go back to the first husband!

It offers a solution to a not-so-common problem in marriages.

There is no solution in Christianity for marriage problem. Even worst, the woman cannot even get a divorce from an abusive husband. If she has such a husband, Christianity doesn't offer her a solution.

Modern ages give women the rights to get a divorce...we even have the women's charter. In contrast to the book.., you might think it is devil who has come up with the charter law for women!
