It really makes no differences as long as China is ignoring UNCLOS rulings and insist its claim on 9 or 10 dash lines.

The US objected to Part IV of UNCLOS about archipelagic states. They claimed that the provisions of the treaty were not free-market friendly.

Quote:The United States objected to Part XI of the Convention on several grounds, arguing that the treaty was unfavorable to American economic and security interests. The U.S. claimed that the provisions of the treaty were not free-market friendly and were designed to favor the economic systems of the Communist states.

China has ratified UNCLOS, yet it ignores the UNCLOS ruling. Who is wrong here?

If one has agreed to an agreement and later dishonored it. This is dishonesty punishable by law in countries.

LOL!..Pray tell when has China "ignores" the UN agreement and had the UN passed any judgement on  ?

Perhaps it is better that you explain what is "free market friendly" in Americans terms.....which interestingly, US politics and policies is as confused as Biden foggy mind... Big Grin

We all know the US loves talking about "freedom" and "human rights"...flunt those unempty promises and still get away with Washington lies and deceits.

Problem is we know it is just another American "dishonesty" at an International scale....

It is not unlike having blind faith on USD ....End of the Day, we know who had been Crying Wolf all along. Big Grin

China didn't even use its arsenal which it has stood ready to fight the proxy war over Taiwan.  If it ever gets worse, then it shant be a proxy war but one which will draw Russia and North Korea in on one side, and the US and NATO in on the other side. It would be the 3rd world war lorh.

What she had only done so far was to bring some sticks nia, maybe did a few Tai Chi maneuvers with it, and the Filipino commandos were sent fleeing for their lives.

Still want to talk about the nine dash line?  Might is right.

I don't know why you need to parrot me on no one is forced to be USA partner. If you want to post about BRICS, you can just go ahead. There's no need to be lame and use anybody's comment here as your opening paragraph before switching to your desired topic.

What is there to explain?  Every country has its own governance and policies. The US has reasons not to ratify UNCLOS. How can we blame the US for not ratifying UNCLOS when there is a dispute among UNCLOS members?
