In a lunch break in a conference in Paris sitting at my table the haughty loud mouth Americans n when I introduced myself that I’m from Malaysia.

1) Immediately they said Malaysia is corrupt( note long before 1MDB scandals). I replied- in USA you called it lobby money, facilitation fee etc. Then they Stopped

2) and added - USA is free country while Malaysia is not. I replied USA is Free country? U must be joking 😀. Your NYPD cop told me before they enter Harlem they call for another patrol car to follow. Imagine policeman dare not go alone to Harlem. Is that FREEEEEdom mocking them

3) then I told them about American War of Independence , Boston Tea Party , Chinese Exclusion Act, Civil War, the donkeys n elephants political parties
they asked how come we don’t know much of Malaysia ?

I replied- that’s becos of the level of civilization n level of education
4) Flabbergasted - they said it cannot be becos USA is better

I said during WW2 US troops parachuted into Papua New Guinea n the natives worshipped them as Gods. Why? Becos of level of education n education - right??

A man fatally shot his estranged wife and three other relatives, including his 8-year-old niece, at a home in suburban Houston over the weekend before killing himself, authorities said Wednesday.

Alrick “Shawn” Barrett, 46, opened fire at the home just before 7 a.m. Saturday after returning his young child from a visit, Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan said at a news conference. Burnsville city officials identified the victims as officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and firefighter/paramedic Adam Finseth

Two police officers and a paramedic who were shot and killed in Burnsville, Minnesota on Sunday morning have been identified by city officials.

The city said a gunman killed police officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and firefighter-paramedic Adam Finseth.

According to the city, just before 2 a.m., officers responded to a domestic situation where an armed man was reportedly barricaded inside a home with family members.

If gun ownership is as liberal in S'pore as it is in the U.S., I am sure that our murder rate would shoot through the roof with the large number of stressed out and mentally challenged individuals.  Many of the retrenched would return to their workplaces to seek revenge on their supervisors. Disgruntled employees would march into their boss' office to get even. Road rage cases would be settled by a bullet or 2. Toxic relatives would get shot for asking uncomfortable questions during CNY as well.
