Our former PM Woody Goh spouts nonsense in public like every Minister must earn at least $1 million per annum or be considered "mediocre" and there is no need for any check and balance in Parliament because the MIW are capable of being their own check and balance.  His equally clueless Mrs even once remarked that TT Durai's monthly salary of $25K for a charity's CEO is "peanuts" even at that point in time.  Who was the check and balance on Woody Junior?

The way many things are handled by all the PaP Ministers requires accountability. Check & Balance is the best method to ensure accountability since they are not honest about it.
