My security procedure to prevent Scammer is this:

Never click on any link or install any unverified app.

If the bank msg me any fund transfer I cannot recall , I will not panic first but check my latest bank balance. If bank balance still current, then I will block the msg and inform my bankers.

U can also help Mata intelligence team by doing the following:

1) f u receive any calls that u know is from scammers, like pressing a number..do not press the number nor hang up immediately nor respond to them ..
2) Simply hold in silence until the auto messenger hang up on you.

3} Then inform the SG Mata online at iwitness .

In your iwitness text, tell the Mata the time ( very important ) and the number. Because u held the call in silence and delay their calls, the Mata team can better trace the real caller location.

Dont always think never click link or downloading any app, you are safe from scam. We need to do more to protect ourselves from scammers. There is no such thing call safe in the internet if you have an email account. Hacker can easily hacked into your email account to steal your personal data.

It's not very hard to edit a post because of a typo error or to do whatever.  There is no need to delete a post. 

And it makes no sense to delete it after it had been quoted if the intention is to HIDE evidence.
