Ukraine's Drone Production Go Through the Roof: Plan to Make One Million in 2024 Exceeded

"I won't specify the numbers. But all the figures for this effort have been met with surplus," Havryliuk stated during a blitz interview with RBC-Ukraine. Ukraine placed an immediate NATO invitation atop its victory plan, but divided allies are in no rush to oblige. While acknowledging that membership itself is a matter for after the war, Zelensky urged allies to send an invitation before U.S. President Joe Biden leaves office in January.

The president also said Ukraine needs to receive an invitation without conditions to cede territory, denying earlier reports that Kyiv might be invited to the alliance without the occupied parts of the country, such as Donetsk and Crimea, despite the ambitious request, seems to be little appetite for a fast-tracked invitation while war is ongoing.

Trump: A plan reportedly being considered by Donald Trump to freeze Russia's full-scale invasion if he becomes president is "unrealistic," a Ukrainian lawmaker told the Kyiv Independent on Oct. 29. Oleksandr Merezhko, the chair of the parliament's foreign affairs policy, said that upon taking office, Trump would soon have to "face reality," and any such plan would fail in light of political realities.

"This plan doesn’t look realistic because it implies the agreement of (Russian President Vladimir) Putin, who is absolutely unreliable and not trustworthy when it comes to observing any agreements," he said. "At the same time, Putin, as of now, is not interested in negotiations and agreements. He still believes that he can win."

Trump has claimed he would end Russia's war within "24 hours" without elaborating on how he plans to achieve it. Some reports and statements from Trump's inner circle indicate this might entail pressuring Ukraine to cede territory or give up on its NATO aspirations.

Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance, in September, outlined the idea of freezing the war by establishing autonomous regions on both sides of the demilitarized zone and leaving Ukraine outside NATO, according to a report in the Financial Times (FT) on Oct. 28.

According to one of Trump's longtime advisors, the new plan would rethink the failed Minsk agreements of 2014 and 2015, which were never implemented. The agreements contained a plan that would create autonomous zones in Russian-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Occupied Crimea was not mentioned in the Minsk Agreement.

The new plan will include enforcement mechanisms and consequences for violating the agreement, the adviser said. But, in his opinion, European troops, not NATO forces or U.N. peacekeepers, will have to keep order.

Merezhko, a member of President Zelensky's Servant of the People Party, said the "only solution" to ending the war is to "strengthen Ukraine, thereby force Putin to sit at the table of negotiations." "The only realistic plan is 'Victory Plan' put forward by President Zelensky."

“Never-Ever Seen” — North Korean Soldiers To Face The Wrath Of FPV Kamikaze Drones In Ukraine War. October 30, 2024.

Russian soldiers have come to recognize the overhead whirring sound of drones’ rotors, which often indicates that they have been spotted and are about to be attacked. But North Korean soldiers, have been recently deployed on the frontlines, might be in for a shock as they face the Ukrainian drones.

North Korean military’s quest for hands-on combat experience might come at an expensive price. As soldiers from the northern half of the Korean peninsula reach Ukraine-Russia front lines, sure (SURE kanna one) will face Ukrainian 100,000 plus Kamikaze drones deployed by the Ukrainian forces, something that even Russians took a while to get used to.

Moscow aided North Korea in fighting a U.S. /  U.N. war, in the Korean War 70 years ago by supplying weapons & pilots;
now, history has come full circle.

The 3,000 North Korean soldiers have been in Russia since October, and it is surmised that the battlefield will serve as a laboratory to test the new weapons and gain combat experience. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted on X that the first lot of the North Korean troops is expected to be deployed very soon. For Russian infantrymen, FPV’s dropping munitions has been their biggest threat, making it difficult for them to move to and from the trenches. Over the two and a half years of war, several videos have been released where an FPV is chasing soldiers running helter-skelter in the face of the unrelenting drone assault.

Now, it remains to be seen if the North Korean soldiers come prepared to deal with Ukrainian drone warfare. North Koreans To Get First-Person View Of Ukrainian Drones. (Many North Korea
sure Kanna one even Russian kanna too many times till now.) The First-Person View drone, which can cost as little as US $500 or less, has wreaked havoc among North Korea / Russian forces. An inexpensive drone can easily fly across the frontline & take out an enemy tank by exploiting its vulnerability, such as an open hatch, the engine, or ammunition stored in the turret.

Apart from modern tactics, it will be the first time that North Korean military will be experiencing drone warfare, a knowledge that can easily be used in the Korean theatre. The war Ukraine, entering its 3rd calendar year, has be will  known for unprecedented deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles, ranging from those that fit in the palm to drones weighing more than 1,000 pounds. Drones have been used to track the enemy and to guide the artillery and bombs to targets.

Almost every fighting brigade in Ukraine’s military has an assault drone company, while most units have small reconnaissance drones.

The transformative use of drones has greatly stemmed Russian advances despite their vast mismatch between the two countries’ military prowess. Expensive weapon platforms like tanks, artillery have been deployed away from frontline.

Now for Long Range Drones?.
In the last 2.5 years, Ukraine has managed to develop drones to strike deeper into Russia to compensate for its lack of long-range missiles.
The beginning of war, Ukrainian long-range drones were brought down by superior Russian electronic warfare systems, this has changed this new war. Ukraine has been hitting targets deeper and deeper within more then 1000 miles into Russian territory.

Testing Ground For New Weapons
The war at Europe’s doorstep has become a testing ground for new technologies and tactics. Countries all over the world have been drawing lessons from the conflict in the field of drones, unmanned boats, long-range fires, and electronic warfare.

Georgia's disputed election results raise red flag & Russia will win tug of war against EU. In the small South Caucasus nation of Georgia, a titanic battle over its future is taking place. Georgians went to polls on Saturday in most important election since country's independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. A gaggle of opposition coalitions set out to jointly bring an end to 12 years of rule by Georgian Dream (GD), a once pro-Western party that has shifted heavily over the past two years toward favouring ties with Russia over those with the Euro Union & the US.

It has been a startling reversal of course for the country, where polls regularly show that upwards of 80 per cent of Georgians support joining the EU. While this remains the publicly stated goal of GD, relations have degraded so badly over the party's increasing authoritarianism that Brussels officially froze Georgia's EU candidacy in June, just months after granting it.

The immediate impetus for the move was the implementation of a much-criticized Russian-style law on "foreign agents," passed by Georgia's parliament in May despite massive street protests against it. (The law enables government agencies to effectively dismantle any civil society organization at a whim.)

Pro-western on Thursday repeated its earlier assertions parliamentary vote had been “stolen” by ruling Georgian Dream party and it refused to recognise the results, plunging the Caucasus country into uncertainty. Pro-Euro president, Salome Zourabichvili, who is loggerheads with the governing party, has declared election results “illegitimate”, alleging there's a “Russian special operation” to undermine vote, Kremlin has denied. Opposition has called for further protests this week. Monday tens of thousands of people thronged streets in Tbilisi to protest against the alleged fraud.

The central election commission told Agence France-Presse on Thursday, a recount at about 12% of polling stations, involving 14% of vote, “didn’t lead to a significant change to previously announced official results”. “Final tallies only slightly changed at some 9% of recounted polling stations,” a spokesperson said.

But the Georgian opposition says the ruling party has engaged in widespread election tampering, citing stark discrepancies between the initial results and an exit poll.

Ukraine 'holding back' powerful Russian offensive, Kyiv top commander says. Nov 3 (Reuters) - Ukrainian forces are restraining one of Russia's most powerful offensives since the start of Moscow's full-scale invasion on its smaller neighbour, the top commander of Kyiv's forces said on Saturday.

Russian troops advanced in September at their fastest rate since March 2022, the month after President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion, according to open-source data. Ukraine in August took part of Russia's Kursk region.

General Oleksandr Syrskyi wrote on the Telegram messaging app. After failing to capture the capital Kyiv early in the war and win a decisive victory, Putin scaled back his war ambitions to taking the Donbas industrial heartland in Ukraine's east, which covers the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
Donbas has since become the war's main theatre, where some of biggest battles in Europe for generations have taken place and thousands of troops on each side have died.

On Sat, Moscow said it taken 2 more settlements along Donbas frontline, week of Oct. 20-27 alone, Russia captured nearly 200 square km (80 square miles) of Ukrainian territory, according to the Russian media group.

Ukrainian official claims. 1st North Korean soldiers stationed in Russia's Kursk Oblast to aid Moscow's war have come under fire, Andrii Kovalenko, head of the counter-disinformation department @Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, reported on Nov. 4.

Official can't provide any more details on the circumstances of the engagement or possible losses on the North Korean side. Zelensky said if Ukraine had permission to use Western long-range weapons on Russian territory, it could preemptively target "every camp" in Russia where North Korean troops are gathering.

Recently, Kyiv has been issuing warnings that the deployment of North Korean troops in combat is only a matter of days. Ukraine believes that Russia is preparing to send 12,000 North Korean soldiers to join its war, including special forces. According to Zelensky, Russia has confirmed to West the involvement of Pyongyang's forces in the war.
