Guess they better blame their own children for not taking over …. nothing to do with the general public. If they are so called "honourable" or "concern" about their trade disappearing … give away their recipe free instead of whining beaching about no one wanna take over

Depends the profits margin, those earn a lot most their kids take over partly now a days the new gen not say really like to work under others , prefer to be boss.

But take over also have to see , does they cook the same like their parents? taste wise?
this is the Major factor.

Usually i noticed those kids take over their parents hawker job is when they are young already help out in the stall so kinda used to it the long hours standing , cook, etc. So when they take over no much problem.
