Honestly, should hold a committee of inquiry on this Dr Cheok.
Don’t think he’s telling the truth. As a psychologist or psychiatrist, some more acting chief, he should be very knowledgeable, and very articulate and fluent in his speech and responses. He should be able to answer spontaneously, reply off the cuff without referring to notes or hesitant to answer or refuses to answer. TCJ had to come to his rescue so many times. Is a joke, is a wayang. The international world looking must ne laughing, and wondering, how can expert doctor in his field, can speak like that and still be acting head of a important medical department.

As a matter of fact and true account since I am a 3rd party auditor myself:

Doing safety audit on ISO 18001 for company x:
Since audit require paper document , site and interview ( which includes group interview).

There was incident on fire and some worker got minor injury. So there is an accident investigation report.
So my mentor get the department head , the project lead engineer ( an expert in EE and grad with a electrical eng degree from some India uni plus he got LEW license )and supervisor in for interviews about this cases.
The fire started due to short circuit and power load of the equipment in congested room. So when start rotated to ask questions on the procedure and instructions given and when ask when is the last check done and so-so. This project lead can give all the procedure correctly but with some pause and hesitation plus with the checklist( suspect backlog and backdated data done) . Whenever ans he will look at his department head for approval.

So my mentor strict away can only give a observation nc.( Room for improvement)
(Else shall be major NC)that lack of hand on the equipment.
After the audit my mentor told me : this engineer lie : he is not well trained or had hand on the equipment or done any real task check on the maintenance of the equipment.
