There are many opposition parties...it is natural even jn US each presidential election is not 2 candidates but 20 candidates only the top 2 matters ..sometimes a strong 3rd candidate comes and split the vote.

Today only PAP, WP ans PSP have real impact on elections snd can win MP pr NCMP seats. 

It is good to have the rest to provide the full spectrum of diverse  ideas ...as the society transforms .some of these parties lkek SDP will become more relevant.

Sjngapore 20yrs from now will be a totally different place with different values ....today social change is sped up by technological changes. Teh main parties today might become dinosaurs tomorrow.

I see no need for parties to artificially consolidate and come under one banner. If they have their own values and beliefs they should stick with it. On and off some smaller parties may come together during elections to combine resources for the campaign so far it has not really worked well....in terms of results.

LTK would never made such serious mistakes or advocated so strongly on issues about ethnic group. Because he understands racial issues in Singapore will always be around. That's the reason our forefathers worked so hard to set such policies. Not for fun.

Imo, 2025 GE won't be a smooth journey for WP.
Better work with other parties in coming election.
