U mean open source and close source? The difference is close source’s code is not published in public but developers can apply and get them to customize their products after a copyright underwriting. No lah, it means it is just a framework like a skeleton for everyone to add on new features. It is pointless to hack it. And it is not surprised if there are a lot of bugs and loopholes, developers will fix them and close these loopholes so that in the next release all that will no longer be an issue. Not only DS, Microsoft Windows and iOS of Apple phones are full of bugs and security loopholes, that is why they frequently release new versions to fix them.
