It's quite telling what counts as "accomplishments" for Biden.

Quote:Biden’s accomplishments this year include:

The $1.9 trillion Covid relief deal.
The $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Getting 72 percent of American adults fully vaccinated.
Getting federal judges appointed and confirmed.
An economy where the unemployment rate has dropped to 4.2 percent.

#1 and #2 is just borrowing money to give companies and individuals freebies. Nobody will go against that and other than some squabbles on who gets more, it is almost certainly to pass.

#3 don't understand what has it got to do with him. Sure, unlike Trump he did not go around discouraging others, but he didn't really do much other than just go on TV and ask people to get vaccinated. The individual States were the ones administering the whole program.

#4 is just SOP expected of any president. Why is that an accomplishment?

#5 Yes, but that's due to the steep plunge in labour participation rate. I know of no economists in US who view this favorably.

Haha to be fair, most of the 800k who died were probably retired or not working anyway. All his trillion dollar welfare plans are essentially paying Americans to stay at home jobless in order not to get calculated in unemployment rate.

In a warp sense the lower unemployment rate is not an achievement but rather a mathematical certainty.
