Already monkey see monkey do. Protectionism is one area. A lot of countries followed US' lead in the last 8 years in building up trade walls.

And the American public is now very good at using misinformation too and other countries' citizens followed. Lots of fake news. Ironically, the official news become much more trustworthy compared to these independent news sources nowadays.
