Kamala Harri vs, Donald Trump Polls Look Three Weeks Before Election. 3-weeks to go until Election Day, Kamala Harris is leading Donald Trump in the 2024 polls nationally, while the vital swing states are still too close to call.
The race between Vice President Harris and former President Trump remains neck-and-neck in the final few weeks of the campaign, with polling aggregators showing Trump cutting into Harris' overall lead.
In terms of the seven battleground states that could determine who wins the 2024 race, Harris and Trump remain essentially tied, with no candidates beating the other by more than 2 points in any aggregator's average.
Harris' clearest path to victory in November would be to win the three blue wall battleground states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, barring any shock results elsewhere. Trump's most efficient path to 270 Electoral College votes would be to win the Sun Belt swing states of North Carolina and Georgia and flip Pennsylvania

Kamala Harris didn’t get her second debate with Donald Trump — so she went on Fox News instead Harris clashes with Fox as she tries to peel away some GOP voters. Vice president clashed heatedly with pro-Trump network’s top anchor Bret Baier on Wednesday night in the kind of adversarial, unscripted scrum that Republicans have long accused her of avoiding.
Harris and Baier squabbled and interrupted one another, as he exposed her policy flip flops and reversals and she rammed home her talking points. The contentious clash, conducted in swing state Pennsylvania, had more in common with the vice president’s sole debate showdown with the former president than forensic, formal interviews where she’s often stumbled.
“May I please finish, you have to let me finish,” she said early in the interview, using a technique she has employed against male rivals in congressional hearings & debates in the past.
The vice president’s trip to Fox News showed how she’s trying to conjure new turning points in a contest with no clear leader.
With most swing states regarded as toss-ups. Trump’s decision to decline a second debate with his rival has meant the final weeks of campaign lack big scheduled moments that can change the race. In the end, on Wednesday, both Harris and Fox News probably got what they wanted.

She singled out his extreme rhetoric & threats to use the military on “enemies from within” — in a way the channel’s viewers rarely see. Her performance bolstered her new campaign tactic of raising fresh alarm about 2nd Trump term, she said in a speech earlier Wed would see ex-president sit in Oval Office “plotting retribution, stew in his own grievances, think only about himself &⅝ not you.”
Harris did some damage control after saying in an interview that there wasn’t much she would have done differently from unpopular commander in chief over past 4-yrs. “My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” she said. “Like every new president comes into office, I'll bring my life experiences, my professional experiences & fresh new ideas.”

Fox us 100% backing Trump, for instance, seized on Harris’ non-answer to one of Trump’s charges — how many undocumented migrants let into country on her watch. As network spooled highlights of the interview, it ran a chyron that read “Kamala continues her tirade against Trump.” Baier pressed Harris on issues important to conservative audience, including tragedies of young American women murdered by undocumented migrants — for whom vice president expressed deep sympathy — her previous support for using taxpayer dollars to fund gender-affirming care for transgender inmates, including undocumented immigrants. (She said she would follow the law on such policies as president).
And in case Harris changed the minds of any of its viewers, Fox followed her appearance with searing rebuttals from Trump’s older sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, and his former ultra-hardline political adviser Stephen Miller.
The tightrope that Harris was walking as she sought to show steel and presidential mettle was evident from critiques of her performance on social media that often played into tropes directed at strong, Black women.

Vice President Harris leads former President Trump by 1 percentage point nationally, according to an Emerson College survey released Fridy.
The poll found 49 percent of voters said they supported Harris, while 48 percent said they backed Trump, a lead well within the survey’s 3-point margin of error. One percent of voters surveyed said they will support someone other than the major nominees, while another 2 percent said they were undecided.
However, when undecided voters were asked which candidate they leaned toward, support for Harris increased to 50 percent, and Trump’s went to 49 percent. The poll also showed Harris leading Trump in terms of favorability; 53 percent of voters said they had a favorable view of Harris, while 47 percent said they had an unfavorable view of her. Trump holds a 49 percent favorable rating and a 51 percent unfavorable rating.
The gender gap between Harris and Trump’s supporters, which has received a fair amount of attention in recent weeks, was evident in the poll’s findings: Trump led Harris among men, 56 percent to 42 percent, while Harris led among women, 55 percent to 41 percent. The latest poll comes less than three weeks out from Election Day and as early voting has kicked off in a number of states. Eighty percent of voters said they had made up their minds about who they would vote for more than a month ago, while 11 percent said they made their decisions in the last month and six percent in the past week. Three percent said they were still undecided.
