Let us not be naive. Mahathir tried to skin S'pore like a cat, but he failed miserably.  As we all know, the rest is history. The brain drain of Malaysians to S'pore continues unabated; so is the sliding Ringgit against the Sing Dollar.

Indonesia, a big country with largest Muslim population in the world, why bother about this tiny thing?

A 3rd world poor country should no waste money and  create further disturbances

Due to climate change, maybe Thailand starts experiencing poor Harvest in produce esp.fragrance rice insufficient for domestic consumption thus, has stopped exporting fragrance rice to Singapore.

Once production recovered, Singapore will be top on Thailand priority list.

Singapore is Thailand's best friend

"Thailand, the world's second-largest exporter, is estimated to have exported more than 8 million tonnes in 2023 -- up more than 10% from the previous year and the highest level since 2018. Drought and rising costs kept exports down in recent years, but they have since picked up.12 Jan 2024"

.since they have an unfriendly neighbour,

Maybe Indonesia and Thailand should consider limiting their exports and to stop enriching thy neighbour.

Timor-Leste’s path to Asean membership.
The country makes its debut as an observer at the Asean Coordinating Council meeting this year, after having received in-principle approval to join Asean last November.

AUSTRALIA

Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese issued an emphatic commitment to Southeast Asia as he brought the special Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to a close in Melbourne yesterday.

In remarks to Southeast Asian leaders on the closing day of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit, Albanese described the diverse, sprawling region as the key to his nation’s future.

More than any other part of the world, Southeast Asia is where Australia’s destiny lies,” Albanese told ASEAN leaders. “This is why we will continue to support your ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific and ensure the stability and peace of our region.”

Why you always go against your country's PM. Bad Boy!!!🤣🤣🤣
