Mas won't let that happened, because their biggest gold mine, CPF, is in SGD.

If gold mine dropped value, lesser money they can borrow cheaply from CPF.

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

Turkey currency will likely recover back. But if you hold their currency now, you might have to go to their country to change their currency. The old currency maybe phase out once their currency recovered.

Turkish Lira is free float, not comparable to SGD. Unless there are signs of deterioration of the assets backing SGD that impede MAS ability to manage float, Turkey experience is not applicable to us.
