Before 2018, China will scare of TPP.
But now, China will not scare anymore becos of RCEP.
China now will welcome more of these multilateral trade pact and cooperation.
I think many ppl dont know what is RCEP?
IPEF is bigger than TPP.
For IPEF, it is still at La Kopi stage. They still need 12 to 18 mths to come out some details to discuss. The wild card now is India.
By the time, it has some result. Biden may have stepped down.
But now, China will not scare anymore becos of RCEP.

Ipef doesn't talk tariff and taxes. There are four key points and members doesn't have to join all four projects. Totally haphazard.... Project

For a start, total move china supply chain to asean & india, eventually will cut off china economy tie with the rest of the world.
In short, is for asean & india to replace china in manufacturing & all the economy activities in this part of the region.
